Learn about the fundamental requirements of building and flying high altitude balloon systems (100,000 feet at the edge of space), examine major shifts in system designs that are being developed by the presenter in conjunction with the University of New Hampshire Space Science Project SMART, and look at classroom activities as well as past project successes and failures.
